As of yesterday show choir season started with our first competition at Southern Wells. After months of practicing (since the second week of school three days a week, then four days a week from 4-7) and spending almost $900 on costumes we did amazing! There were three ladies groups and seven mixed groups(including three large groups that had no business being there). Ladies placed second out of the three and won in vocals. BG's got third out of seven beating all of the small groups and one of the large groups, which is great for our first competition! Extra awards were given to Katie, Ethan, and Wednesday. Katie won the best female soloist out of every group there, Ethan won best performer in BG's, and Wednesday won best performer in Ladies. Everyone did so amazing!

I have a short solo in Murder Murder and a duet in Pure Imagination. Our shows this year are amazing and fun! I'm looking forward to our next competition, which will be in three weeks! Till then we have lots of work to do! :)
