What an exciting Valentines Day. Of course, you may be one of those people who HATE VDay and mushy love stuff. If you're one of those people, this may not be the thing to read.
I've always had mixed opinions about VDay. Then again, most people without someone to share it with really don't like it(Sorry) I've had a boyfriend for two VDays now. The first year neither of us really had any money at all. So, we didn't do anything. Well, that's not true. Our friends, James and Andrea, took us out for Chinese. That was pretty fun. BUT we didn't do anything romantic, which was fine with me. This year,however, my boyfriend has a job. ^.^ I was really looking forward to VDay. I figured we would just go out to eat and watch a movie. Typical stuff. From the 6th to the 10th of Feb. he had been really sick with a fever. He didn't go to school the 11th either. I figured we were just going to do our VDay the next weekend. He text me to tell me he was feeling well enough for me to come over. After show choir, I did. When I got there he blocked the doorway and had me close my eyes. Then he led me into the kitchen. When I opened my eyes I had a wonderful surprise awaiting me. In the kitchen was a small round table. A pink table cloth had been placed neatly on top of it along with two lit candles. In the center of the table were purple orchids. (My favorite color). There were also plates of food out. There was a salad on one and alfredo with shrimp on the other. (MY FAVORITE FOOD!!!) Instead of using normal cups we used wine glasses.(No wine included) His parents left for about two hours giving us time alone. It was thee best Valentines Day I have ever had!!!
